Policy
Animal welfare & safeguarding
01Humane treatment
Animals involved in any educational activity must be handled responsibly and humanely, with their welfare taking priority over any demonstration or photograph.
02Reporting welfare concerns
If you are concerned about an animal's welfare, contact the competent local authorities or a licensed veterinarian. You may also inform us through the contact page. The association does not operate a shelter, rescue centre, clinic, or emergency service.
03Responsible use of photographs
We avoid images that could distress viewers or show animals in unsafe situations, and we label illustrative imagery as such.
04Limits of educational information
Our educational content is general in nature and is not a substitute for an individual veterinary examination.
05Children and vulnerable participants
Any activity involving minors or vulnerable participants will require appropriate supervision, parental or guardian consent, a code of conduct, and a clear procedure for reporting concerns, before it takes place.
